Individual Therapy

A space to slow down, understand what you’re carrying, and begin healing.

If anxiety feels constant, your mind won’t quiet down, or past experiences still feel present in your body, individual therapy can offer a place to pause and begin making sense of what’s happening — without judgment.

This is a space where you don’t have to hold everything together. We move at a pace that feels steady and manageable, working toward meaningful, lasting change.

All sessions are offered virtually, serving adults across Florida.

Is Individual Therapy Right for You?

Many people begin therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure where to start.

You might be experiencing:

  • Anxiety or panic that feels hard to control

  • Trauma or past experiences that still feel present

  • Feeling stuck in a constant state of tension

  • High-achiever stress, burnout, or perfectionism

  • Emotional numbness or feeling disconnected from yourself

  • OCD, intrusive thoughts, or repetitive patterns

  • Difficulty relaxing, sleeping, or feeling at ease in your body

  • Grief, loss, or major life transitions

  • Challenges with identity, relationships, or self-worth

  • Neurodivergence or difficulty feeling understood

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting. Therapy is a place where we begin exactly where you are.

What Individual Therapy Can Support

Individual therapy creates space not only to talk through what’s happening, but to better understand it — at a pace that feels manageable and supportive. Together, we begin to make sense of patterns, experiences, and emotional responses, while also noticing how they show up in your body.

Through our work together, you may begin to:

  • Develop a greater sense of safety and connection within your body

  • Feel more grounded and emotionally regulated

  • Better understand patterns, triggers, and responses

  • Process past experiences in a way that feels safe

  • Build self-trust and confidence in your decisions

  • Feel more connected to yourself and your relationships

Over time, therapy can help you respond to challenges with more clarity, flexibility, and confidence. As your nervous system begins to feel more supported and regulated, it becomes easier to move through life with a greater sense of steadiness and self-awareness.

How Therapy Works

Therapy is a collaborative process. You won’t be pushed faster than you’re ready for, and there is no expectation to have everything figured out.

Sessions are paced thoughtfully, allowing space to explore what’s coming up while also building tools to support you in your day-to-day life. We may also gently notice physical sensations and nervous system responses as part of the process.

My role is to guide, support, and help you make sense of your experiences — while creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and safe.

A Personalized, Trauma-Informed Approach

Your experiences are unique, which means therapy should be too.

I use a trauma-informed and somatic approach, integrating different methods based on what will be most supportive for you. Depending on your needs, we may incorporate both talk-based and body-based approaches to support deeper, more integrated healing.

This may include approaches such as:

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

  • EFT Tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique)

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD

  • Gottman Method Affair & Trauma Recovery

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • RRT Sexual & Child Abuse Recovery (Rapid Resolution Therapy)

  • Somatic techniques (working with the body and nervous system)

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

These approaches are not used all at once or in a rigid way — they are thoughtfully integrated based on your needs, goals, and readiness.
